One-Pan Creamy Tomato Pasta (No Boiling Needed!)

Ingredients

300–350 g pasta (penne, fusilli, shells, etc.)

1 onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic

1 can (400 g) chopped tomatoes

2 cups hot water

½ cup cream

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp dried basil or mixed herbs

Salt & pepper

2 tbsp olive oil

Optional: spinach, mushrooms, parmesan

Instructions

1. Add oil, onion, garlic to a deep pan; sauté 2–3 minutes.

2. Add raw pasta, tomatoes, water, sugar, herbs, salt + pepper.

3. Mix well and bring to a boil.

4. Cover and simmer 12–15 min until pasta is cooked and sauce thickens.

5. Stir in cream and spinach (if using), cook 2 more minutes.

6. Serve with parmesan or cheese.
